Welcome to Satu Wallet. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Satu Wallet mobile application ("App", "Service") operated by PT Bintan Teknologi Kreatif ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Satu Wallet, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PT Bintan Teknologi Kreatif.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
2. Eligibility
To use Satu Wallet, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using cryptocurrency services under applicable laws
- Not be located in, or a citizen or resident of, any jurisdiction where cryptocurrency transactions are prohibited
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
3. Description of Service
Satu Wallet is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet application that allows you to:
- Generate and manage cryptocurrency wallets
- Store, send, and receive various cryptocurrencies
- View your portfolio and transaction history
- Swap cryptocurrencies through third-party exchange services
- Purchase cryptocurrency through integrated payment providers
- Add and manage custom tokens
Non-Custodial Service: Satu Wallet is a non-custodial wallet, meaning we do not hold, control, or have access to your private keys, seed phrases, or funds. You are solely responsible for the security and management of your wallet.
4. Wallet and Private Keys
4.1 Seed Phrase and Private Keys
When you create a wallet, you will receive a seed phrase (recovery phrase) consisting of 12 or 24 words. This seed phrase is used to derive your private keys and wallet addresses.
Critical Security Information:
- Your seed phrase is the ONLY way to recover your wallet if you lose access to your device
- We do NOT store your seed phrase and cannot recover it for you
- Anyone who obtains your seed phrase can access and transfer all your funds
- Never share your seed phrase with anyone, including Satu Wallet support
- Store your seed phrase securely offline in multiple locations
4.2 Wallet Security
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your seed phrase and private keys
- Securing access to your device
- Setting up and managing PIN protection (if enabled)
- All activities that occur using your wallet
5. User Responsibilities
As a user of Satu Wallet, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when required
- Maintain the security of your wallet and credentials
- Keep your device and app updated
- Verify all transaction details before confirming
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Report any security vulnerabilities or suspicious activities
- Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
6. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use Satu Wallet for:
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illegal activities
- Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
- Purchasing illegal goods or services
- Circumventing any sanctions or restrictions
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
- Distributing malware or harmful code
- Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
7. Fees and Transactions
7.1 Network Fees
Cryptocurrency transactions require network fees (gas fees) paid to blockchain miners/validators. These fees are:
- Not controlled by Satu Wallet
- Variable based on network congestion
- Required for transaction processing
- Non-refundable once the transaction is submitted
7.2 Service Fees
Certain features may include service fees:
- Swap transactions may include exchange fees from third-party providers
- Fiat-to-crypto purchases include payment processing fees
- All applicable fees will be disclosed before transaction confirmation
7.3 Transaction Finality
Cryptocurrency transactions are generally irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain. You acknowledge that:
- We cannot reverse, cancel, or refund completed transactions
- Sending to incorrect addresses may result in permanent loss of funds
- You are responsible for verifying recipient addresses
8. Third-Party Services
Satu Wallet integrates with third-party services including:
- LetsExchange - For cryptocurrency swaps
- Payment Providers - For fiat-to-crypto purchases
- CoinGecko - For price data
- Moralis - For blockchain data
Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or services provided by third parties.
9. Risk Disclosure
Important Risk Warnings:
Cryptocurrency investments involve significant risks. By using Satu Wallet, you acknowledge and accept the following risks:
9.1 Market Risks
- Cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile and can decrease significantly in value
- Past performance does not guarantee future results
- You may lose some or all of your investment
9.2 Technical Risks
- Blockchain networks may experience outages or congestion
- Smart contracts may contain bugs or vulnerabilities
- Software updates may affect functionality
- Hardware failures may result in loss of access
9.3 Security Risks
- Phishing attacks and social engineering
- Malware and device compromises
- Loss or theft of seed phrases
- Unauthorized access to your device
9.4 Regulatory Risks
- Cryptocurrency regulations vary by jurisdiction and may change
- Some activities may become restricted or prohibited
- Tax implications vary by jurisdiction
10. Disclaimers
10.1 Service Provided "As Is"
SATU WALLET IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement of third-party rights
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Security or freedom from viruses or malicious code
10.2 No Financial Advice
Nothing in Satu Wallet constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. We do not recommend any specific cryptocurrency or investment strategy. You should consult qualified professionals before making financial decisions.
10.3 Price Information
Cryptocurrency prices displayed in the App are obtained from third-party sources and may not reflect actual market prices. We do not guarantee the accuracy of price information.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- We shall not be liable for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or funds
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We shall not be liable for any losses resulting from your failure to secure your seed phrase or private keys
- We shall not be liable for any losses resulting from transactions sent to incorrect addresses
- We shall not be liable for any actions or services provided by third parties
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PT Bintan Teknologi Kreatif, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any content or data you submit through the Service
13. Termination
13.1 Termination by You
You may stop using Satu Wallet at any time by uninstalling the App. Your wallet and funds remain accessible through your seed phrase using any compatible wallet application.
13.2 Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms
- Suspected fraudulent or illegal activity
- Requests by law enforcement
- Extended periods of inactivity
- Discontinuation of the Service
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
- Your wallet and funds remain accessible via your seed phrase
- Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes through:
- In-app notifications
- Updates to the "Last Updated" date
- Push notifications (if enabled)
Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
15.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through:
- Negotiation: The parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiations
- Mediation: If negotiations fail, disputes may be submitted to mediation
- Arbitration: Unresolved disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with Indonesian arbitration rules
15.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
